Filmed in Chatham in the winter of 2007 as a submission for the ill-fated Fox reality show "On The Lot" BOMB was created in 10 days. That's all told, from first brainstorming session to the all-night render of the final edit. Good for the short time frame, but slightly uneven. Still, the film showcases some interesting narrative flourishes, as well as clever set pieces. Ultimately, the 5 minute time limit hurt the overall success of the film. By the time the elaborate set up has played out, little time is left to gather any emotional momentum. Cute and thoughtful is a fair assessment. And the music score is pretty good for having been written, performed and mixed in less than a day.
